Red damselfly / Damisela 11th February 2005, 02:09
Both damselflies and dragonflies are so hyperactive during the day that it's virtually impossible to photograph them. I was pretty lucky to have found this one resting on a leaf!

Tanto las damiselas como los alguaciles son tan hiperactivos que se torna virtualmente imposible fotografiarlos. ¡Tuve bastante suerte en encontrar a ésta reposando sobre una hoja!

Esta especie está ampliamente distribuída en todos los ríos y lagunas del país. Los acuaristas suelen tener algunos en sus peceras dado que parecen no dañar a las plantas acuáticas

Jupiter, Moon and fireflies 11th February 2005, 01:48
This is one of my favorite pics. It was taken in Centurión, a small town near the border with Brazil. The dusk sky was particularly lit by a gibbous moon, Jupiter and firefly trails

Esta es una de mis fotos favoritas. Fue tomada en el pueblo Centurión, cercano a la frontera con el Brasil. El cielo crepuscular estaba particularmente iluminado por una luna en cuarto creciente, Júpiter y estelas de bichos de luz o luciérnagas
